Seven C's of History

           1.    Creation: Genesis 1
In the beginning, God made the earth in six days. God created things after their own kind.  The world was perfect and there was no death. Violence, disease and sickness, were all out of the question.

2.    Corruption: Romans 5:12
God told Adam and Eve that they could eat from any tree in the garden except the one in the middle of the garden. To eat from this tree would mean death. Adam rebelled and since then there has been sin in the world. But Got didn’t leave us in this mess. He promised to one day send a Redeemer.

3.     Catastrophe: Genesis 6:17
God saw that the wickedness on the earth was increasing greatly, and He was sad, for He had made man, and He said, “I will destroy whom I have created and I will start over.”  Noah found favor in the sight of God and he was to build an ark that could hold at least 16, 000 animals, himself, his wife, his three sons, and their wives. He took two of each kind of animal.

4.    Confusion: Genesis 11:1-9
And God commanded Noah and his family to “be fruitful and multiply on the earth…” However, once again the human race disobeyed. They built a tower and said to themselves, “Let us build a tower that reaches to heaven and a city, and let us make a name for ourselves lest we be scattered abroad.” When God saw this, He said, “Behold the people are of one language. Let us go down and throw them into confusion.” Hence, the reason for all the languages today.

5.    Christ: Romans 5:15
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Jesus did nothing wrong. Never in His Life did He sin. God gave His only son; Jesus to die for our sins, so whoever believes in Him will not die, but live forever. God promised hope years ago, and now it has come.

6.    Cross: 1 Corinthians 15:45
And so it is written, the first Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Jesus is referred to as the “Last Adam”. While Adam disobeyed God, Jesus fulfilled God’s purpose by dying for our sins. The first Adam brought death into the world. The last Adam brought eternal life through His suffering. “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”  Romans 5:12

7.     Consummation: 2 Peter 3:13
God, in His mercy, promised not to leave us when we sinned. He has promised to remove this earth and replace it with a new heaven and a new earth in “which righteousness dwells.” Every Christian needs a worldview on a proper understanding to combat evolution.
These are the 7 C’s of history recorded in the Bible.
