Catching Up / CAPTURE Kansas

HEY Y'ALL!! What have you all been doing lately?
I have been as busy as ever, trying to catch up with school, after a week and a half off for CAPTURE Kansas. :)
Anyways...you don't want to hear about that.

I put my best pictures from CAPTURE Kansas on Clear Creations, but I thought I would put my Calendar Pics on here...

Well, what do you think?
I hope you are all doing well, and that you are enjoying Autumn as much as I am!

Random Pictures from Sunday

Here are a few random pictures I took this last weekend.
We picked up James Staddon from the airport on Saturday. Sunday, after church, we went out to my grandparents' for lunch, then on a scouting excursion for CAPTURE Kansas Photography Workshop.

Eighty Six Years Ago Today...

Philip James "Jim" Elliot was born.

Here are some of my favorite quotes from him:

"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose."

“Wherever you are, be all there! Live to the hilt every situation you believe to be the will of God.”

"God always gives His best to those who leave the choice with him."

“Forgive me for being so ordinary while claiming to know so extraordinary a God.”

“Oh, the fullness, pleasure, sheer excitement of knowing God on earth!”

“I seek not a long life, but a full one, like you Lord Jesus.”

“When it comes time to die, make sure that all you have to do is die.”

And obviously, there is the quote on my blog header:

"He makes His ministers a flame of fire, Am I ignitable? God deliver me from the dread asbestos of ‘other things.’ Saturate me with the oil of the Spirit that I may be aflame. But flame is transient, often short-lived. Canst thou bear this my soul—short life? In me there dwells the spirit of the Great Short-Lived, whose zeal for God’s house consumed Him."

Have a great day!!!

Just a little note to say...

Hello all!  What have you been up to?
It's been a few weeks since I posted, so I wanted to let you know that I am not ignoring y'all on the "bloggosphere". :)

The thing is, I've been so busy with school, and other things, that I haven't had time to blog.

But...I'm back!!! *the audience applauds*
I have had a busy weekend...shooting a wedding, working on homework, going to our church's fall fest. It's been exciting!

So, I guess that is all I wanted to say.
Come back tomorrow for a special post, and if you want to see the wedding photos, go on over to Clear Creations Photography.
